Lisa Sommerfeldt was born in Munich in 1976. At first she studied literature, history and philosophy and after that acting. As an actress she worked for Staatsschauspiel Stuttgart and Stadttheater Osnabrück among other theatres and played in several TV productions. As a freelancing author Lisa Sommerfeldt writes theatre plays and audia dramas. For her play "Flaschengeld" (bottle money) she reached 2nd place of the Berlin-TYA-Award (Grips-Theatre), in the season 2015/16 the play had ist World Premiere at Badische Landesbühne Bruchsal. The following season Lisa Sommerfeldt wrote the play for youth "Dorfdisco" (village disco) for Landestheater Eisenach. Fort he play project "Der dunkle Vogel" (the dark bird) Lisa Sommerfeldt received together with Theatre Ulm the project scholarship of the TYA-Award Baden-Württemberg 2016.
